Who We Are
The New York Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta proudly resides on North Campus at
2 Ridgewood Rd on "The Ship", a white mansion built in 1922 by a Cornell-educated architect and brother of Phi Delta Theta, and modeled after a naval ship. Here, our brotherhood stands as a beacon of camaraderie and shared values. We take pride in the unique blend of personalities and talents that define our brothers, forging bonds that extend far beyond the surface of mere friendship. Much like The Ship itself, Phi Delta Theta provides a haven of comfort and familiarity—a place where brotherhood transcends the ordinary and becomes an integral part of one's identity.
A Word from our President
"... Our chapter ultimately finds itself looking towards a very bright and optimistic future. As the New York Alpha chapter of Phi Delta Theta gears up for its 151st year at Cornell University, I am confident that the brotherhood will continue to find ways to strengthen our commitment to the Bond, to one another, and to ensuring that the Ship is delivered to posterity even greater than it was to us."
